BURHAN DOĞANÇAY

Doğum Tarihi ve Yeri: 11 Eylül 1929 - 16 Ocak 2013, İstanbul

Eğitim ve Sanat Hayatı: İlk sanat eğitimini, ressam babası Adil Doğançay ve diğer bir ressam Arif Kaptan'dan almıştır. Ayrıca; Doğançay, gençlik yıllarında Gençlerbirliği'nde futbol oynamıştır. 1950 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'nden mezun olduktan sonra; 1950 ile 1955 yılları arasında Fransa'daki Académie de la Grande Chaumière'de sanat kurslarına katılmış ve 1953 yılında Paris Üniversitesi'nde iktisat konusunda doktora yapmıştır.
